Seven projects were selected for funding by the MDSI. The projects have a duration of six months and are expected to initiate extended follow-up research.

The seed fund projects sponsor collaborative work between two TUM PIs in data science related fields, which are currently in an installment / starting phase. The research will focus either on foundations of data science or any domain-specific data science. Projects connecting foundations and application domains were particularly welcome.
