For the first time, the Munich Data Science Institute will take part in the Open Day of the Garching Research Campus on October 3, 2024. On this day, visitors can gain an exciting insight into the current research of our scientists. Researchers from our institute will be available to answer your questions at the MDSI stand in the main hall of the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology and present their projects using various (hands-on) exhibits. Prof. Stephan Günnemann, Executive Director of the MDSI, will also give an overview lecture on the institute's diverse projects in the early afternoon on “Wie Künstliche Intelligenz die Wissenschaft verändert” (in German). Core Member Prof. Felix Krahmer will explin “Warum funktionieren einfache Trainingsmethoden in der künstlichen Intelligenz so gut?” (in German) at midday.
At the MDSI stand you will receive detailed information about the locations of the other participating members of the MDSI, relAI and the MCML.
