The event, with more than 40 participants and instructors, featured informative lectures by thought leaders in the field in the morning and practical, hands-on sessions in the afternoons. The first day focused on the basics of various technologies and data processing standards. The other two days allowed participants to get hands-on experience with the developers of current state-of-the-art tools such as LIANA+, MistY, Spapros, Tangram, and NiCo. 

The event was supported by the Munich Data Science Institute and took place at their premises. The open working space created a special atmosphere, allowing for seamless transitions between talks, group work, and fruitful discussions among participants. With this autumn school, the MOPITAS consortium has not only brought together members of the Spatial Transcriptomics community but also brought the Munich Data Science Institute and the Danish Data Science Academy closer together. We would like to thank all contributors and look forward to the next school, planned for 2026 in Denmark.
