Patentability of Computer Implemented Inventions (CII)
Webinar on the "Patentability of Computer-Implemented Inventions (CII)", co-hosted by the Munich Data Science Institute (MDSI), TUM ForTe Patents & Licenses, and the European Patent Office (EPO). EPO experts will offer valuable insights into the legal and procedural aspects of patenting CIIs, using real-world examples from TUM's research landscape. This session is tailored to doctoral researchers at TUM and aims to deepen their understanding of this increasingly vital area of intellectual property law.
We are pleased to invite you to an insightful webinar "Patentability of Computer Implemented Inventions (CII)", jointly organized by the Munich Data Science Institute (MDSI), the TUM ForTe Patents & Licenses, and the European Patent Office (EPO).
Two experts from the EPO will provide insights into the patentability and the granting process of computer-implemented inventions. Using selected technology areas from TUM, they will illustrate the growing importance of this field in modern patent law. This session aims to enhance understanding among the doctoral researchers at TUM regarding the patentability of computer-implemented inventions — a topic of growing relevance in today’s innovation landscape.
