Veranstaltung, Top |

This workshop focuses on exploring the intersection of technology and journalism and brings together researchers and adaptors from universities and media.

When: January 18, 2024, 10am - 4pm.

Where: Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR), Rundfunkplatz 1, 80335 Munich

They use forms of automation and AI for investigative methods as well as for product development of journalistic formats such as automated texts, graphics, news briefings. A Journalism Tech Hub aims to make this work connectable: What models the teams are training could be used by other media outlets? What training data from public-service broadcasting could be useful to other institutions with a social mission?

Organizers: Bayerischer Rundfunk, TUM MDSI
