TUM-DI-LAB & Celonis Christmas Lecture WS2018

Dear Students,

We invite you to join the TUM-DI-LAB & Celonis Christmas Lecture!

Did you know? Christmas Lectures were established in 1825 by the Royal Institution in London. The lectures present scientific subjects to a general audience.

Where: Come to the lecture hall HS2 (MI Hörsaal 2), Math building in Garching Forschungszentrum.

When: Wednesday 19.12.2018 (6:15 - 8:15 PM).

About the lecture

: Process mining is one of the fastest evolving data analytics technologies that enables companies to reconstruct, analyze, and improve their processes based on log data from IT systems. Process mining thereby bridges the gap between model-based process analyses and data-centric analysis techniques. You will learn about Process Mining algorithms and get your hands on real-world data. As preparation of the lecture, bring your laptop and register for a free academic Celonis license at academiccloud.celonis.com/login/register

About the Speaker: Janina Nakladal is Academic Alliance Manager at Celonis – a former student start-up from TUM, which is now the market leader in Process Mining Software and recently became a unicorn. Janina is responsible for the global education and research cooperation program at Celonis. After graduation as M.Sc. in Business Administration at the WFI Ingolstadt School of Management, she joined Celonis in January 2018. Since then, she has provided more than 40 lectures and workshops on Process Mining on 3 continents. Janina gained further working experience at Siemens Healthineers, Random House and United Nations.
